We are a 200 year old rum plantation, coverted decades ago into a fine dining destination restaurant. The exterior of the old farmhouse is carefully maintained in its original beauty, while the interior has been transformed into a warm inviting dining room filled with antiques and works of art. You are dining at home, while sharing an experience with us here at OSFH
I look forward to eating at your restaurant during my stay feb 5-12…..
I would like to reserve a table sunday night(feb 6) at 7pm as well as thurs nite(feb 10) at 7pm
thanks
Mr Unger… that is great news! I will get you into our books right away. I will need the first names of your guests, if any- that you will be dining with. Thanks so much. Greg Engelhardt, Exec Chef/Owner
Mr Olivo, forgive my lack of timeliness to your inquiry. I would love to send to you you our special event options. Please send me your email address so I can forward you menus, etc. Thanks so much for your patience…
I am sorry to be asking this question on here, but I cannot find a contact email address for the restaurant. I would LOVE to have my wedding luncheon here on 4-27-11 if that could be arranged. I am only on the island for the day and want to do something nice for my guests. It is a small gather of 14 people that are the world to me. I am having such a difficult time finding a wonderful place until I found you!!! Please say you can help ; ). Please contact me at dawndudash@gmail.com., I truely appreicate your time with this. Thank you ; ) .
Dawn- I hope it is not too late! I did not see your comment until now (holidays have been crazy!). Have you found a place, or are you still interested in the OSFH?

Hello! I was wondering if you do gift certificates there? If so, would you be willing to mail one?
Greetings! Yes, we do gift certificates. I can take a credit card over the phone- and i do not mind mailing one at all. Call me on my cell number and I’d be happy to follow up

Your restaurant looks and sounds fabulous! We would love to enjoy your hospitality on Saturday, Feb. 5th at 8:30 p.m. There are 4 adults in our party, my husband, Dennis and our friends, Lisa & Dave.
The Old Stone Farmhouse reminds me of a 200 year old building in Montreal, Quebec, Canada which has also been converted into a lovely dining establishment. We are looking forward to our evening! Susan
Ms. Moonan, thank you for contacting us via blog. I have you in the books for 4 people- and have the names you provided. Thank you
We look forward to your evening as well. See you on Feb. 5th- 8:30…
Hello! My fiancee and I will be honeymooning in St. Thomas the week of May 29th. Do you have any available reservations for that week? And could you also email me a menu? I’m also interested in the “meet the chef” experience. I was hoping to do this for my fiancee as a wedding gift. Thank you so much!!!
Hello – we spent our wedding night dinner at OSFH 5 years ago and are back in the Virgin Islands cruising on our sailboat for a few months. We’d love to have dinner with you on Valentine’s Day, Monday, Feb 14th. Can we make a 6:00pm reservation? And can you tell me how far you are from the Ritz (we’r etreating ourselves to a couple nights off the boat)? My husband’s name is Mike.
The comments and all of the insight into your re-opening sound fantastic. Congratulations and we look forward to spending time with you!
Carol–
I carol! thanks for writing to us. sorry for delay. We hope we can have you as our guest, but unfortunately- we have been sold out for several weeks on valentines. Hope we can do another night. call or text me to my cell, and Ill get a future reservation in the future. Greg- Exec chef
We heard great things about your food, so on arriving on St. Thomas 2/19/11, we asked our concierge to make a 6PM reservation for Thur 2/24.
After a 20 minute cab ride, your hostess informed us that our name wasn’t listed and that you were full. There were two of us, and many open tables. I guess your “passion” doesn’t extend beyond the kitchen, to the front-desk.
We won’t be making that cab ride again!
(moderated and approved by Greg chef/owner OSFH 2/3/11 replyed to comment 2/3/11)- hoping it helps our future guests making reservations during the busy season)
Don,
we are sorry for the inconvenience- we remember the night well. It is hard to tell guests we are full when they see empty tables. It is hard (for guests) to understand that a full dining room does not all arrive in the same taxi, and that when guests who have made reservations for tables between 6:00 and 7:30 unfortunately require a table to be saved for them until they arrive (takes about 2 hours to dine at the OSFH). In other words- any and all tables you saw open where reserved for reservations. reservations made up to and including 7:30 cannot be sat at 6:00 (or 5:45 when you arrived)…. or someone who didn’t have confirmed reservations would be sitting at their table.
We have been sold out since before Christmas, and take first come first serve reservations only. Your concierge WAS TOLD we were booked that day. We had been sold out days before the same day call was made- for your reservation. Again- we apologize for the inconvenience, but the problem is more than our front desk. Too late now, but I thought I’d attempt to clear things up.
We offered to buy you and your guest a drink- and even offered to get reservations with some of our “sister restaurants”. We cannot accommodate “walk-ins” during the busy season. The local concierge know this. Its a shame the OSFH left a poor taste in your mouth. Thanks for sharing your feedback. It will improve our front desk operation.
Greg Engelhardt- chef/owner
Hey Chef Greg!
Travel plans are finalized and Joan and I will be there 3/29 to 4/5. Too bad you’re closed on Tuesdays instead of Mondays, or we’d have you to the condo, cook for you and Whitney (now there’s a switch!), and celebrate the upcoming June festivities. Maybe we can at least pop a cork on Tues. nite 3/29? Anyway, we definitely want dinner reservations for 3/30, 4/1, and 4/3. I’ll leave the times to you….it will just be Joan and I. We have some catching up to do, my friend. Really looking forward to tasting your magic and experiencing all the “new”. Anxious to check out the kitchen, too. We’re really pumped to see you and experience OSFH! As I said to you on the phone, traveling to Las Vegas is just not the same without Andre’s Sixth Street and YOU. Hit me back when you get a chance to let me know you received this note. See you soon!
Warmest regards,
Jim Dennis
Our thanks to Greg and the rest of the team at Old Stone Farmhouse for an amazing 25th anniversary dinner. We dined as OSFH on our honeymoon in June 1986, and had not been back since. Greg welcomed us with special warmth, a great tour of the kitchen, and an AMAZING 25th anniversary cake. I will send photos for Greg to post. What a great, great evening. The food was amazing, the staff wonderful, and the setting romantic. We loved our return visit to OSFH, and won’t wait 25 more years to come back!

Hi
Do you have a facebook fan page? if so i cannot find it. we recently dined there with my family for my parents wedding anniversary and i wanted to follow your fb page. thanks!
jennifer
sorry for late delay! Our FB page is old stone farmhouse. im not totally sure how to find/search for it? best of luck. Thanks for the interest!!
Chef Greg:
We were not aware of this website otherwise we would have e-mailed about the superb dinner we had at the Old Stone Farmhouse in Jan. 2011. The hostess, waiter/waitress and the rest of the staff are so gracious and accommodating. As a wanna-be chef I was thrilled to see the kitchen and how some food was prepared.
My husband and I spend the winter in St. Thomas and so look forward to dinning at the restaurant this year. My son and his family will be joining us and since we raved so much about the Farmhouse they too will be dinning.
I also would like to purchase a gift certificate. In an e-mail above you gave your number to purchase a certificate, please advise if this is still the procedure.
See you in January!
Dolores & Bob Brivio
Hi Bob and Delores- Im pretty sure I wrote to you from Thailand while my wife and I where away on honeymoon? If not, and I did not answer your question- please email me at my private email address: ciaporkchop@msn.com. Thank! Looking forward to hearing from you!!
If you care to share your dining experience on TripAdvisor- the world would love to hear about it there! Take good care.
Greg
Good morning from Gloomy Chicago,
I would like to make dinner reservations for Sunday December 18th at 6:00pm for 5 people. Your web site appears to be down so I though this the best avenue. Looking forward to dining at the OSFH!
Hi Dan,
thank you for your reservation request. would you please email me at:
ciaporkchop@msn.com
I will confirm the reservation from there. Please provide the first names of the 5 guests who will be dining. I will enjoy creating a personalized menu for you and your guests.
See you in December
